Allows mobilehome residents to request additional time to correct violations of park rules without risk of eviction if the Covid pandemic prevents correction of the violation within the usual seven days, for the period of the Covid emergency and 120 days afterward; would take effect immediately and therefore requires a 2/3rds vote.

Establishes limits on rent increases for renters living in a mobilehome that is rented from the owner. 

Requires mobilehome park owners who submeter water service to generally charge the same rate to residents as they would pay if they were receiving service directly from the water utility provider; allows park to charge a $4.75/month billing fee.

Prohibits park management from renting or subleasing a mobilhome if the park rules prohibit renting or subleasing.

Provides evictions protections for COVID-impacted residents in mobilehome parks during the pandemic.

Extends AB 1492’s limatations on rent increases to mobilehomes.
